A Collaboration Project for Community & Elite BMX riders

The Monster BMX Track was created as stage two of the Monster Mountain X development to create an integrated public “action sports precinct”.

Both the Mountain X and BMX facilities were supported by the AOC and the Australian Sports Commission. The project has also developed out of the working relationship that the Sydney Olympic Park Authority has with Auburn Council. This project is a product of this co-operation and has engaged young people of the Auburn LGA.

Funding partners for the project included Auburn Council and the Federal Governments Regional Development Program. Other supporters of the tracks development included the Australian Olympic Committee, BMX Australia, Cycling Australia and the Australian Sports Commission.PKR_06
