Parking is easy with 10,000 car parking spaces available at Sydney Olympic Park.
It is recommended you arrive early so you don't miss the start of your event. Restaurants, food outlets and bars are open in the major venues before each event, or just take a stroll around the Park and enjoy the many attractions.

Pre-booked Parking
If you plan to drive to Sydney Olympic Park, it is recommended you pre-book your parking for major events. This will guarantee you a parking space at one of the structured car parks at Sydney Olympic Park.
Cost: Pre-booked parking costs $20.00 (Please note a booking fee may also apply).
Booking fees: You can save money by purchasing your pre-booked parking ticket in one transaction with your event ticket. Otherwise booking fees are applicable in the following circumstances:
- When collecting your tickets in person from Ticketek agencies
- If you purchase your pre-booked parking ticket as a separate transaction to your event ticket.
To pre-book your parking: Call Ticketek on 132 849 or visit the Ticketek Website and select a day when pre-book tickets are available.
Collecting your Parking Ticket - You must book seven working days in advance to allow for delivery by mail, or you may pick up your parking ticket in person, at the following four selected Ticketek locations only:
- Elizabeth Street - Head Office Agency, Sydney.
- Theatre Royal - MLC Centre, King Street, Sydney.
- WIN Entertainment Centre - Cnr Crown & Harbour Streets, Wollongong
- Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, Olympic Boulevard. (Please note that tickets cannot be picked up on the day of the event).
Parking tickets cannot be collected from the venue. Please refer to the Ticketek Website for full details on collecting your pre-book parking tickets.
Casual Parking
If you do not pre-book a parking space, casual parking is available for $4 per hour or $20 per day (maximum).
A number of time-limited, free parking spaces are generally available within the Sydney Olympic Park Town Centre. However, these spaces will generally not be available at times of major events due to road closures and/or changed traffic conditions.
During certain major events at Sydney Olympic Park (for example; Sydney Royal Easter Show, NRL football finals, State of Origin, AFL blockbusters, Rugby Union internationals), a flat fee of $20 is applicable and casual parking spaces maybe be restricted or inaccessible due to road closures.
*A 'major event' is defined as an event that is supported by a special public transport overlay, such as the regional bus network or additional trains.
Permanent Parking
A limited number of permanent parking spaces are available for those wishing to park on a long-term basis at Sydney Olympic Park. (ie: those that work in the Park and local businesses).
Permanent Parking fees: P1, P2, P3 and the Sydney Showground - $115 per calendar month. P4, P5, P6 series and P7 - $100 per calendar month. P8 Car Park - $200 a calendar month, or $1,750 a year.
Fees are payable in advance, with limited access of 6am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
Limited permanent parking may be offered on a 24 hour, 7 day per week basis. P1, P2, P3 and the Sydney Showground - $161 per calendar month. P4, P5, P6 series and P7 - $140 per calendar month. Fees are payable in advance. P8 Car Park - $280 per calendar month or $2,450 a year.
All permanent parking fees are payable in advance.

Payment Methods
Automatic Pay Stations are conveniently located at P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5 car parks. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and accept cash and credit cards (ie, MasterCard, VISA and AMEX). During major events, cashiers also staff these car parks.
Cashier Pay Stations are also located at P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5 car parks, but are only staffed during major events. Cashiers accept cash and credit cards (ie, MasterCard, VISA and AMEX).
'Pay and Display' ticket machines are available for P6 series car parks and on-street parking on Dawn Fraser (west) and Herb Elliot Avenues. These machines only accept 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 coins. They do not give change and only accept 25 coins per transaction. Credit cards are not accepted.
It is recommended you bring coins with you if you intend to park in 'Pay and Display' areas.
Change machines are located on Dawn Fraser Ave (west), P6f car park (next to the Brickpit) and P3a car park (adjacent to P3 car park). The change machines do not accept credit cards and will only accept $5, $10 and $20 notes.
Please note that enforcement is regularly carried out in all parking areas, so ensure that you do not overstay your time period.
Parking for Persons with a disability
There are approximately
400 accessible car parking spaces located throughout Sydney Olympic Park. The numbers of accessible car spaces are;
- P1 Car Park - 179 spaces
- P2 Car Park - 10 spaces
- P3 Car Park- 46 spaces
- P4 Car Park - 32 spaces
- P5 Car Park - 77 spaces
- P6 Car Parks - 28 spaces
- P8 Car Park - 6 spaces
Also the following on-street spaces are available;
- Showground Road - 8 spaces
- Dawn Fraser Avenue (west) - 5 spaces.
Please note that during major events, these on-street spaces may not be available or inaccessible due to road closures or changed traffic conditions.
If you have booked or use an accessible parking space, remember to have your RTA permit clearly displayed.

Situated at the intersection of Hill Road and Holker Street, near the northern corner of the Sydney Showground, the P5 Carpark, is divided into 3 pods, (A, B and C) and is primarily used as overflow parking for major events. Access to P5 Car park is only via Hill Road or Holker St.

Parking Restrictions and Enforcement
The entire Sydney Olympic Park site is a designated RESTRICTED PARKING AREA. This means that if you park outside of a marked bay or contrary to directions marked on or adjacent to a parking bay, your vehicle is considered to be parked illegally and fines may apply. Regulatory signs at Sydney Olympic Park have the same meaning and legal significance as all other local government and similar areas.
