Monster Taken over by the V8 Supercars

Monster is Closed to the General Public for the V8's from Today until Sunday Night (Friday 4th - Sunday 6th)

Today marks the start for the Sydney Telstra 500 V8 Super Car Race at Sydney Olympic Park and as a result MONSTER has been taken over by PEDDERS Automotive to become the PEDDERS Automotive Skate Park. This means Monster is closed to the public from today and will re-open on Monday morning 7th December.

The great news is that PEDDERS Skate Park is home to the best action sports athletes not only in Australia, but from around the world! During the Telstra 500 V8 Supercar Race, Monster Skate Park has teamed up with Pedder’s Suspension to wave the green flag and kick start an incredible action sports spectacular! With legendary Australian Vert Skaters Trevor Ward, Nathan (AKA Jimmy) Beck, DEW Tour rider Andy Buckworth and Monsters own team of Pros and we will also showcase the Monster Team of Development Skaters and riders - watch out fo some of these kids doing their thing.

Race fans will be treated to professional demonstrations on the spine and vert ramps from the best Skateboarders and Freestyle BMX riders in the country! Parents can grab a coffee at the Monster Café while kids can find the latest gear in the Monster Pro Shop. 

Finally, Parents can drop of the kids and let them ‘Give it a Go’ at Skateboarding or Freestyle BMX riding with the Monster Academy program. Nationally Accredited coaches work with participants in the Monster’s 1000sq meter indoor street course! This unique experience allows participants to train like a pro! Levels of ability range from beginner to advanced…go on…’Give it a Go!’
