Come back to suss out whether you've made it on the Monster picture page...we took heaps of snaps of all the Oakley vert team fans...and also got some great street shots of a couple of Monster regulars. As you probably know, the weather meant a lot of work for the Oakley team with their autograph pens...and none on their boards. Despite squalling Monday night rain, hundreds of skate devotees came to Monster to meet Oakley’s international skate team. While the weather meant it just wasn’t to be, Bob Burnquist, Rune Glifberg, Chris Senn, Renton Millar and the rest of the Oakley team did not disappoint, taking time to meet and give autographs to everyone in the park. We’re counting down the sleeps to next year in the hope they’ll come back…and in the meantime, check out some of the pictures (our regulars were going off in the street!)

We are happy to say the vibe at Monster is a great one, big smiles from all ages are common at Monster making it a great place to be. We are also happy to say that the park is being accepted as an essential part of the freestyle sports community in Australia. We are sure that with the current rate of attendance, the park is going to produce some stand out athletes in no time. It’s been great to see so many new people are riding the vert ramp. It shows that the need in Australia for a world class vert ramp wasn't a myth.

BUCKY TESTS THE MONSTER VERT
During a 24-hour trip to Sydney for the Nick Kid’s Awards, Bucky Lasek and the Billabong team found time to be the first riders to test the massive new vert ramp – Australia’s only true competition-sized vert: 141/2 ft high, 68 ft wide with.
